ArtBLINK® Gala 2012, held February 25

at The Kirklin Clinic, raised more than

$1.5 million for the UAB Comprehensive

Cancer Center s Fund for Excellence and for patient and family services.

The gala also honored two longtime and loyal friends of the Cancer Center:

Richard A. Elkus, M.D., and James P. Hayes Jr.

ArtBLINK® 2012 artists, who had just 90

minutes to create masterpieces for the

evening s silent auction, included Thomas

Andrew, Ahmad Austin, Xander Booker,

David Boyd, Joan Curtis, Vicki Denaburg,

Randy Gachet, Karen Graffeo, Lila Graves,

Bethanne Hill, Darius Hill, Mila Hirsch, Carol

Misner, David Nichols, Linda Ellen Price,

Ashley Terrell, Paul Ware and Jamie Wilson.
