The Angel Squad of the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center is a group of dedicated volunteers providing hope, comfort and compassionate services to breast cancer patients and their caregivers at The Kirklin Clinic of UAB Hospital.
Angel Squad Goals & Values:
–To provide one-on-one support to each patient and his or her caregiver.
–To educate breast cancer patients, their caregivers and the public about breast cancer.
–To be advocates for breast cancer patients in the medical environment.
–To provide support for one another.
–To be good stewards of the donations from our community partners, with appreciation for their support and promotion of the partnership and public education during events.
–To promote commitment, compassion, loyalty, advocacy and spirituality while serving our patients and their caregivers as well as our clinical team, other Angel Squad members and our community.
