ACIPCO Celebrates Long-Time Partnership PDF Print E-mail

In 2009, the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center honored the American Cast Iron Pipe Company (ACIPCO) for 30 consecutive years of donor support, making the Birmingham company one of the Cancer Center’s longest-standing community partners.

 

ACIPCO’s annual gift comes from employees to support cancer research and patient care services. To date, ACIPCO has donated more than $500,000 to the Cancer Center. Corporate donations such as ACIPCO’s, along with those made by civic clubs, philanthropic organizations and other community members, allow the Cancer Center to continue cutting-edge research, recruit outstanding new faculty and upgrade its equipment regularly.
