What is a Partner in PROGRESS & PROMISE?

A Partner in PROGRESS & PROMISE is any organization that wishes to make a significant impact in the fight against cancer by making a charitable investment or event sponsorship. At the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center, we are working toward the day when cancer is no longer a major public health threat. As our Partner, you will help us save lives by funding cutting-edge research and advancing the development of more effective treatments. You will also help us support patients during their cancer journey and eliminate cancer health disparities in underserved communities across the Deep South. The impact of your gift will be felt locally, state-wide, regionally and nationally.

How will our gift be used?

Your Partner in PROGRESS & PROMISE gift will support the CCC’s highest-priority projects through the Fund for Excellence. You will fight cancer and help to advance the translation of scientific discovery into new treatments for patients by supporting the promising research of young investigators and attracting the world’s best physician-scientists to UAB. You will also help to provide educational and supportive services to cancer patients and their families.

How will our company be recognized?

All of our Partners are recognized on the CCC website and in the annual ArtBLINK® Gala program. Partners who are identified by November 1 of the year will be included on printed materials for the upcoming Gala. Platinum-level Partners will receive the most prominent recognition.

Can we make our gift in tribute to someone?

Your Partner gift may be made in memory or in honor of loved ones, colleagues and/or clients. We will contact you for the names of your honorees after we receive your Partners in PROGRESS & PROMISE commitment form.

How will honorees be recognized?

All honorees will be recognized annually at the ArtBLINK® Gala. In addition, we will send a letter to the honoree or the family notifying them of your gift. The timing of the letter is up to you – to commemorate a special occasion, at year’s end or closer to Gala, as you prefer.

How can we get UAB tax documentation and/or an invoice?
