Thompson Family Makes Donation PDF Print E-mail

The UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center recently received a generous donation of $25,000 from the Thompson Family Foundation of Birmingham. The donation will be used to fund a breast cancer stem cell research project led by Cancer Center scientist Susan Ruppert, Ph.D.

 

The Thompsons have long been loyal supporters of the Cancer Center, as well as the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama, of which Jean Thompson serves as a board member.
