| Breast Cancer Survivors Who Don't Exercise Needed for Study |

February 13, 2013 The UAB Department of Nutrition Sciences is looking for breast cancer survivors, who are not regular exercisers, to participate in a research project. The study evaluates the BEAT Cancer program, designed to help breast cancer survivors start and maintain an exercise program. This study, funded by the National Cancer Institute, includes supervised, individual exercise sessions with exercise specialists.
Participants must be between the ages of 19 and 70 with a history of DCIS, State I, II or IIIA breast cancer.
