Research at UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center

One of the primary missions of the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center is to support cancer research and the faculty conducting that research across the UAB campus.

As a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center, funding from the National Institutes of Health is provided to establish and support research infrastructure for the cancer research community at UAB in the form of shared facilities.

Our shared facilities provide our members access to high-end equipment, cutting-edge technology and expert scientific consultation. By providing these services to our members, the Cancer Center hopes to foster an interactive and collaborative environment that will lead the way into the future of cancer research.
