The Young Supporters Board of the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center

The Young Supporters Board of the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center was established in 2006 to introduce the next generation of Alabamians to the importance of cancer research and awareness. The Board is comprised of up-and-coming professionals between the ages of 25 and 34, all of whom have been touched by cancer in some way. Several members are survivors, themselves.

The Young Supporters Board hosts an annual party called Fiesta Ball. The proceeds from this Cinco de Mayo-themed event go toward funding the research of a young scientist at the Cancer Center.
