The UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center's Annual Celebration of Progress and the Promise for the Future

On Monday, November 2, more than 150 people gathered to learn about the latest advances in cancer research happening at the UAB Comprehensive Cancer at the first-ever "Progress & Promise."

This event was a chance for community members to hear from Cancer Center physicians and survivors the impact that UAB is making in the fight against this disease. Speakers included Cancer Center Director Ed Partridge, M.D., Senior Scientist Harald Sontheimer, Ph.D., and Associate Director for Clinical Programs, Marty Heslin, M.D.
