Clinical Trials

The UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center strives for excellence in its dual roles as a regional cancer referral center and a cutting-edge research entity. Cancer Center members actively participate in efforts to improve cancer therapy, diagnosis and prevention through their own original research protocols as well as the National Cancer Institute's high-priority trials and multicenter research collaborations, including national cooperative group studies. This multifaceted approach maintains the Center's connections with the national cancer research community while fostering the development of translational research linked to UAB's scientific resources.
