PERSONALIZED CANCER CARE

The Comprehensive Cancer Center Annual Research Retreat provides an opportunity to stimulate interdisciplinary research collaboration and development among cancer researchers. This event is free and open to faculty, trainees and staff engaged in cancer research.


RETREAT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Presentations by experts in the field of personalized cancer care

  • Poster Sessions highlighting original work in all fields of cancer research

  • Awards for posters judged to be the most outstanding

  • Shared Facility displays



POSTER COMPETITION

Eligible participants may submit an abstract of their original cancer research for presentation as a poster to compete for first, second, and third place cash awards. Posters entered in the competition are evaluated and scored by a panel of judges during Poster Sessions on meeting day.  Awards are presented at the end of the meeting.

Open Category (non-competitive). Posters submitted to the newly created Open Category are included in the program and abstracts book. However, Open Category participants do not participate in the competition and are not eligible for an award at this time.



FACULTY AWARD

Albert F. LoBuglio Distinguished Faculty Award. This award is presented to the faculty member who has made the most outstanding contribution to the research mission of the Comprehensive Cancer Center.



SHARED FACILITY EXHIBITS

The Comprehensive Cancer Center Shared Facilities provide state-of-the-art instrumentation and a variety of services to cancer researchers. Our experienced personnel will be available for consultation and to answer questions about usage. Shared Facility exhibits are located adjacent to the Poster displays.
